Andrea Colopi (1993) is born in Alzano Lombardo (BG - Italy). In 2019 he received the MA degree (Laurea Specialistica) in Comparative and Modern Cultures at the University of Bergamo (Literature, Philosophy and Communication Department) summa cum laude (110/110 e lode) with a dissertation on Collezionismo, erudizione e scambi librari nella Venezia del Seicento: le lettere di Lorenzo Pignoria a Domenico Molin under the supervision of Clizia Carminati and Sonia Maffei. His interests are mainly focused on the dialogue among different disciplines (such as Literature, Iconology, Philosophy, History of ideas and Modern History) during the XVII century in Europe, particularly on the prosperous cultural exchanges between Venice, France, Holland and Germany. The title of his PhD project (2019-2022) is Encomiastic Poetry and Celebratory Historiography in the Republic of Ragusa (17th-18th century).
